Once your hot water is poured into your teapot, it will start to cool down. So, to maintain the optimum temperature you need to keep the pot warm while the tea brews. These hand made cozies fit over your pot like a blanket, keeping your teapot nice and hot so that you can brew the perfect cup of tea.
Even in sunny California (!) a tea cozy is needed to keep your tea brewing at the right temperature.
Once your tea has brewed, the tea cozy will also keep your tea nice and toasty for hours.

Made by hand, the cozy is 30cm in diameter, with a height of 26cm (11.8ins in diameter and a height of 10.2ins). Loop at the top makes it easy to hang up in the rare situation that the cozy is not actually being used.
